Hillraisers—STFU

Just read a WSJ article about top Hillary fundraisers moaning and groaning about Obama. “He doesn’t treat us special,” they whine, “how dare he shy away from Hillary playing a big role in his campaign,” and my personal favorite “we resent his sexist campaign.”
STFU STFU STFU STFU
- Both sides had to throw punches during the primary season, Hillary is no saint.
- I recall Hillary throwing the race card punch. She said something along the lines of “only I can win blue-collar (white) folks….” which implies Obama cannot. Both candidates are qualified, so the presumed differentiation that prevents Obama from winning white-collar people is his skin color. That’s how I interpreted. That’s how CNN and NYTimes interpreted the comment too. I waited for Obama to hit back with something sexist, and he did not. In my book Hillary is the one who crossed the line.
- The attractive part of Obama’s campaign is that he doesn’t have to rely on mega-rich, mega-connected Democrats to raise funds. Obama’s strong grassroots fundraising strategy allows him to be independent, say what he wants, and not worry about pleasing/helping/sacrificing for the elite that used to dominate these campaigns.
Seriously. STFU. I don’t think democrats need the 300 “top tier” Hillary supporters to win this race anyway—I think that being penned as the guy who doesn’t give in to sore losers only enhances Obama’s allure.

I read the same article on the WSJ online (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB121539354782631403.html?mod=hps_us_inside_today) and I agree the Hillraisers are a bunch of sore losers and an embarrassment to women. They are saying that although they know Obama is not responsible for media sexism but they will penalize him for not doing enough to stop it. Wait Hillary was Obama’s opponent during the campaign – he was supposed to defend himself against attacks from her as well as defend her against the media? This looks like a break in logic to me, and these irrational fools better not try to make it a “woman thing” as some of us have brains.
