Intuitive Explanations of Math Concepts

I am sitting here doing some pre-mba course work and I have to admit that the concepts of e and natural log completely boggle my brain.

I don’t get it. Instead of memorizing the definition and simply plugging the value of e when asked to solve a problem, I sit there asking myself”but what IS e? What is e?”

I’ve always approached math this way. I simply do not “get” it and therefore obsess about “understanding” the math…you’re not supposed to understand math, because all you have to do is memorize and apply equations when necessary.

Well, then I stumbled on this awesome site that gives intuitive explanations of basic concepts like e.

Great site. Now I get the concept, so now I feel comfortable memorizing/applying the math when necessary.
